Ed Spence

Spence, Ed, age 63, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Bath County, KY to George and Louise (Manley) Spence. He worked in the lab for Sun Chemical Corporation for 20 years and was previously employed at Sorg paper for numerous years. Ed was a member of Trenton First Church of God. He enjoyed playing basketball with his friends at the Y.M.C.A and was an avid UK basketball fan. Ed is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sabrina (Muncy) Spence; son, Chris Spence; step-son, Kelly (Theresa) Dunfee; mother, Louise Spence; brother, Rick Spence; sister, Patty (Frank) Humphries; grandchildren, Rayne Spence, Cane Spence, Halle Dunfee, Connor Dunfee, Gracie Dunfee, Kian Dunfee, Kennedy Antelo; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Dave Robinson. He is preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 9:00-11:00 am at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Todd Wallen officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
