James Keith Combie

Combie, Keith, age 83, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1933 to James and Ethel (Boyd) Combie. He served our country in the US Air Force during the Korean War with an honorable discharge. He was a supervisor at Gardner Paper for 27 years; owner and operator for Ripley Builder Supplies. Keith was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church and Mason Lodge. James is survived by his children, Teresa (Gary) Lovelace, Mindy (Reggie) Lightner, Karen (Keith) Watters; grandchildren, Todd Lovelace, Stacey (Zack) Stowell, Ryan Lightner, Kyle Lightner, Brian (Kacey) Schwallie, Brad Schwallie, Keith (Erin) Watters Jr., David Watters, Michael Watters, Matthew Watters; 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice (Mann) Combie; sister, Ruth Boyd. Private services will be held for the family at Woodside Cemetery Chapel.
