Lori J. Hammond

Hammond, Lori Janeen, age 56, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County. She was born September 8, 1960 in Middletown, OH to Dr. Jerry and Jean (McFarland) Hammond. She loved Hee Haw, Batman and George Clooney. She always had a smile and kiss for everyone. Her hobbies were reading, making noise and singing all kinds of music; going to the car wash and Dairy Queen. She went to Liberty Center and Benchmark Day Programs. Lori volunteered at Lane Public Library for many years dusting the books. Lori is survived by her father, Dr. Jerry Hammond; sister, Terri L. Hammond; brother, Jeffrey (Cindy) Hammond; nephew, Christopher Hammond; special friends, April Cottle, Jessica “Dee Dee” Bailey, Angela Charlton Hull. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jean Hammond. Visitation will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 from 10:00-12:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Jerry Minor officiating. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
