Anne Elizabeth Berns

Anne Elizabeth Berns, 87 of Middletown passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at her residence. She was born on May 17, 1935 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada to Bruce Upper and Marjorie Victoria (Thomas) Collins. Anne worked as an Elementary School Teacher and was a brilliant artist, painter and potter who also enjoyed ice skating. She is survived by her sons, Thomas and Douglas Berns both of Middletown, Ohio; her sisters, Carol Hetherington of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Victoria Smith of Bolton, Ontario; her grandchildren, Hannah Berns of Beavercreek, Ohio Jasmina Davis, Rainie Berns and Autumn Berns all of Middletown, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hubert Thomas Berns. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Avenue 45042 with Funeral Services to follow at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum.
