Bert Hall

Bert Hall was born on December 11, 1932 to Estill and Sarah (Fields) Hall. Bert was 87 years old when he entered into his eternal home in Heaven peacefully on March 22, 2020 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bert migrated to the Middletown, Ohio area in the early 1950’s from Viper, Kentucky when he then met the love of his life Helen Bennett. On August 25 1958, he joined the Local Laborers Union 534. He was extremely proud to have been a member of his local for 61 years. He was active up until his passing for the Local’s Retiree’s Sector as the Recording Secretary. Bert joined the Mason’s in 1969 & Eastern Star Lodge 55 Franklin, Ohio in 1973. He was active for 50 years and during this time, he achieved 32nd degree Mason and 14 degree Scottish Rite. Bert loved to talk about the Lord, joke around, sing and make up his own songs, tend to his garden and simply be outside. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church under the late Dr. Gayle Terrell. Bert was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He is proceeded in death by his parents; Wife Helen Hall; Son, Michael Hall; Daughter, Angel Lynn Hall; Brothers Billy Lou Hall, Glenn Hall and Otis Hall; Sister, Norma Jean Roberts; Bert is survived by his children; Daughter Helen (Russell) Ashley of Middletown, OH, Teresa (Rick) Kelley of Beaufort, South Carolina; His son Ryan (Shannon) Hall of Seven Mile, OH; His Grandchildren, Sarah Jones, Brianna Kelley, Christian & Caleb Kelley; Great Grandchildren Braylin Hall, Landon Jones, Lilly Hall, Luke Jones and Elliott Snowden; Brothers, Estill (Ruth) Hall of Moriane, OH; Vaughn (Teresa) Hall of Newport, KY; Ernie (Margarite) Hall of Hazard, KY; Bobby (Ginny) Hall of Fairfield, OH; Sisters, Joyce (Billy) Duff of Garrett, KY; Sara Faye (Gerry) Cornett of Elizabethtown, KY. Visitation will be on Monday, March 30 at 12:00 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service will follow visitation at 2:00 PM with Dr. Rick Kelley officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of the COVID-19 inconvenience, memorial contributions may be sent to Baker-Stevens Parramore Funeral Home in the name of Bert Hall and family.
