Boyd Carl Tolson

Tolson, Boyd Carl, 80, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born February 8, 1940 in Menifee County, KY to Dennie and Gladys (Ratliff) Tolson. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was a beloved husband, dad and Papaw. He loved gardening, going to car shows to see all the old cars and listen to bluegrass music. Boyd is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Tolson; children, Boyd Allen (Brenda) Tolson of Middletown, OH, Donna (Greg) Banks of Franklin, OH and Sheila (Bobby) Reed of Franklin, OH; grandchildren, Matthew, Mark & Christopher Tolson, Benjamin Banks, Stephanie Chelf and Charley Reed; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Jean Wells of Mt. Sterling, KY and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; great grandson, Wesley Allen Wei Tolson; brothers, Donald & Henry Tolson and sister Geneva Murphy. Private services will be held for the family with a Celebration of Life service at a later date. Interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
