Bryan M. McCarthy

McCarthy, Bryan M., age 56, of Middletown, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 26, 1961 in Dayton, OH. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, John J. McCarthy Jr. and Patricia A. (Sutter) McCarthy, and loving sister Teresa Olding. Bryan was a member of St. John Catholic Church. He was an employee of Sysco Food Service for 28 years. He loved cars, motorcycles especially Harleys, and was a Nascar fan. Bryan was known by everyone as a very kind and generous man with a great sense of humor. Bryan’s family was of utmost importance to him. Bryan is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Jill McCarthy; daughter, Shirley (Lyle) Gutknecht; grandchildren, Dean Gutknecht, Trina Gutknecht; sister, Margie (Brenden) Gitzinger; nieces, Gracie Gitzinger, Brittany (Guy) Moreno; nephew, Matthew Olding. Visitation will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. John Church – Holy Family Parish with Father John Civille officiating.
