Charles E. Howard, age 86, of Camden, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 12, 1933 in Jackson, KY to Jesse and Ethel (Robinson) Howard. He served our country during the Korean War in the US Army with an honorable discharge. He was a press operator for Inland Container for 44 years. Charles was a member of Church of God in Jesus. He was a beloved husband, dad and papaw that enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a life member of Middletown Sportsman Club and NRA. Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Audrey (Oaks) Howard; children, Dwayne (Alisa) Howard of Germantown, Merica (Wendell) Fallen of Middletown, Renee (Wally) Dishman of Camden; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Howard of Middletown. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ethel Howard; daughter, Shasha Carpenter; sisters, Wilma, Wanda and Mary Frances Howard. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Rod Griffin and Rev. Arnold Brewer officiating. Interment will be Woodside Cemetery.
