Christine "Chris" Keller (Amburgey)

Christine “Chris” Keller (Amburgey), age 75 of Middletown, passed away peacefully the morning of Sunday, May 28, 2023 at home.  She was born on September 23, 1947 in Middletown to the late Bunion and Mary (Jones) Amburgey.  Chris was raised on Vannest Avenue where everyone knew the Amburgey family and could expect a wave from their front porch. She was a mother, grandmother and sister who had worked at Montgomery Wards, Sennett Container and Meijer.  When you walked in her house, you could always find her either watching QVC, Hallmark Movies or doing her word finds.  Chris is survived by her children Stefanie Keller, Christie (Nick) Adams, Jesse (Jessica Lucas) Kinder; grandchildren Zachary Taylor Martin, Shelby Elijah Jackson, Parker Scott Adams, Madison May Marie Kinder and Wyatt Michael Adams; siblings Donna (Charles) Smith, Charles (Kathy) Amburgey, Robert Morgan and lifelong friend, Shirley Campbell (Cress).  She was preceded in death by her first husband Shelby Keller; parents; brother William Amburgey and sister Barbara Amburgey. Private family services are in the care of Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home.
