Vince Gibbs

Vince Gibbs, age 70, passed away at home on March 4, 2021. He was born to Arley and Elizabeth Gibbs in Middletown, Ohio on July 13, 1950. Vince was a veteran in the United States Army and later retired from AK Steel after 40 years as The Blast Furnace Section Manager. Vince was a loving husband, dad, grandpa “Pa” and “Papaw” and great grandpa. He was devoted to his family and was his boys number one fan and biggest supporter in all the events they participated in. Vince was an avid hunter, loved to fish, coach baseball and was a Boy Scout Leader. Vince is survived by his loving wife of 48.5 years, Pam (Tewell) Gibbs; three sons Bruce (Stacey) Gibbs, Jeff (Angie) Gibbs, Jeremy (Emma) Gibbs; grandchildren Vincent, Pammy Gibbs (Kyle Perkins), Abby (Noah) Guest, Alec, Samantha, JJ, Gracie, Chance, Walker and great grandson, Oliver; mother Elizabeth Gibbs; siblings Judy (Johnny) Grizzle, Mike (Stacy) Gibbs, Debbie Gibbs and best friends Denny and Vickie Rose. He was preceded in death by his father, Arley Gibbs and niece, Melissa Grizzle. A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown, Ohio 45005 with a memorial service to follow at 6:00pm.
