Obituary

Perdue, Daniel Carl, age 87, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 2, 1931 in Jackson, KY to Clayton and Lindy (Fletcher) Perdue. He served in the US Army during the Korean War with an honorable discharge. He was a correction officer for Lebanon Correctional Institute for 20 years, retiring in 1996. Daniel is survived by his daughters, Debbie Perdue and Pam Hall; sons, James Perdue and Richard Perdue; 8 grandchildren, including Jennifer Perdue, his live in caregiver; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and sisters, Euncie (Frank) Roe & Martha LaBarge. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Carlyn (Centers) Perdue; son, Robert Daniel Perdue; daughter, Shirley Spencer and brother, Paul Perdue. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. James Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
