Daphne Curtis

Curtis, Daphne Michele, age 53, of Hamilton, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 18, 2020 while at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born January 31, 1967 in Hamilton, OH to John and Edith (Maples) Poynter. She was a purchasing buyer for Vapor Systems Technology for 14 years. Daphne attended Horseshoe Baptist Church. Daphne is survived by her loving husband, Bob Curtis of 34 years; daughters, Renee Burris of Hamilton, Ashley (Dewayne) Allen at Middletown; grandchildren, Lauren Burris, Kayleigh, Olivia, Zallinna, Quinten Allen; sisters, Rita (John) Massey of FL, Michelle Little; brother, Randy Poynter of Middletown; father, John Alvis (Al) Poynter; step-mother, Mary Poynter; numerous nieces, nephews, various cousins including Lisa Cantrell who was more like a sister and Paula Hubbard a lifelong best friend of 40 years. She is preceded in death by her mother; daughter, Kristen Curtis. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 10:00-12:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Arvil Jones officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
