Jacob Baker

Jacob A. Baker, age 38 of Middletown, Ohio died unexpectedly in an auto accident Saturday, March 25, 2023 in Monroe, Ohio. He was born on March 1, 1985 in Middletown, Ohio to Douglas Baker and Brenda (Downs) Taylor. He was employed for 19 years at Kohl’s Warehouse. Jacob married Charity Gill on July 21, 2007. He was a jack of all trades. He renovated two houses, was a wood worker, owned and operated Baker Salvage Co in Dayton, Ohio for three years. Jacob was very musical, he played bass and keyboard in his high school years. Most recently he played guitar every night with Willow Mae on the microphone. He loved fishing with Keaton. He baked with his dad; Douglas, Keaton and Willow. He loved to joke with his step-dad “man-friend”, but most of all he was the best husband and dad in the whole world. Left behind to mourn their loss of Jacob is Charity Baker, children; Keaton and Willow Baker, his parents, brother; Daniel Baker, mother-in-law; Sally Kash, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a special niece; Kadence Pike. Preceding Jacob in death is his grandparents; Herbert and Nancy Downs, Richard Baker, and Carmel Klinger, Brother-in-Law; Terry Elfers, and Wayne Cavinder. Services will all be held at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, Ohio 45005. Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jason Alspaugh and Rev.
