Jesse McClure

Jesse Edward McClure, 87 years old of Middletown, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Bickford of Middletown. He was born June 30, 1933 in Mize, Kentucky to Charles and Alice (Havens) Roop.

Jesse served our country during the Korean War in the U. S. Air Force. He was an electrician at Sorg Paper Company for 49 plus years when he retired. He was a member of Community Harvest Church. Jesse had served as treasurer for Christian Assembly of God and the Secretary/treasurer of Local #112 Paper Union.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 63 years, Dolly McClure, children; Larry (Melinda) McClure, Yvonne (Bobby) Klapper, Marsha (Mitchell) Miller, grandchildren; Austin (Kea) McClure, Brandon (Brittany) Miller, great-grandchildren; Sadler and Silas McClure, Judah, Aaron, Eden Miller, Cameron McKinney, Emery Bercik, sisters; Jan Davison and Scharlene Deaton. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Susie Jane, grandchildren Chad Miller and Ashley Tincher.

Visitation will be at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Ave Middletown, Ohio 45005 on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Services will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Duane Harney officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
