Marsha Waters

Marsha Dell Waters of Madison Twp., went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2018 at the age of 71. Marsha was born on April 8, 1947 to Henry and Ruby Fugate. Marsha was born into Christ’s family on October 7, 1979 at Calvary Baptist Church of Middletown, OH. Marsha graduated from Middletown High School in 1965. She was employed at Armco/AK Steel where she retired in 1992. Marsha was a faithful, loving member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Carlisle, Ohio. She had an active prayer life and great faith in the Lord. Marsha married Gary W. Waters January 1, 1980 following the New Year’s Eve service at Calvary Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marsha is survived by her husband Gary, and her children Kristi Cox (Greg), Tonya George (Brian), Scott Waters, and Denise Hunter (Kevin). Her grandchildren: Mariah Beckett (Chris), Austin Cox (Tara), Amber Drlik (Grant), Joshua O’Dell, Amanda O’Dell, Kaela Waters, Justin Hunter (Hannah), Chad Hunter, Trevor Hunter and three great-grandchildren: Adelyn Waters, Remington Drlik, and Raelynn Cox. Marsha was preceded in death by her father and mother: Henry and Ruby Fugate, sister: Cheryl Olson, brother: Edward Brown, and grandson: Jonathon Waters. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hillcrest Baptist Church, as well as family and friends for their prayers and expression of love. Service will be held: Monday, November 19, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
