Obituary

McQueen, Paul J. “PJ”, age 81, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born March 2, 1939 in Franklin County, IN to John R. and Della (Reece) McQueen. He served our country in the US Army during Vietnam War with an honorable discharge. PJ was a member of Gratis United Methodist Church. He worked at Armco Steel retiring after 27 years; Monroe Police Department for 25 years and Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home for 2 ½ years. PJ loved life and enjoyed everything he did. He had a fulfilled life with many friends and relatives. His passion was working in his yard. He was a great man, father, husband and inspiration to many. PJ is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jean (James) McQueen; daughter, Robin Timberman of Middletown; grandchildren, Joey and Lauren Timberman; brother, Charles (Betty) McQueen of Carlisle; special friend, Sandy Hoffman and Karl Oswald. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jean Dalton and Janet Boggs. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Wood officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com.
