Robert L. Gehm

Gehm, Robert “Bob”, age 85, passed away January 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 9, 1932 to Edwin and Anna (Jacobs) Gehm in Middletown, OH. He was owner and operator of Gehm’s Welding and previously worked at Armco and Wortco. He loved woodworking and welding and would take a simple piece of metal and turn it into something good and beautiful. He enjoyed the Rifleman’s Assoc. and riding his motor cycle. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church-Holy Family Parish. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grand and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Emily Ruth (Davis) Gehm; his parents; brother, Edwin W. Gehm and sister, Peggy Thomas. Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Wanda L. Gehm; children, Robert R. Gehm of New Port Richey, FL, Elizabeth Bishop of Middletown, OH and Tammie (Dave) Kittel of Franklin, OH; step-children, Debbie Rose of Connersville, IN and Donnie (Joyce) Rose of Visalia, CA; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home at 1500 Manchester Ave. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Holy Trinity Church-Holy Family Parish at 201 Clark Street, Middletown, OH with Father Robert Obermeyer, officiating. Interment will take place at Woodside Cemetery. The family asked in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to The Bob L. Gehm Memorial & Medical Account at American Savings Bank, 701 N.
