Ruth A Hill

Hill, Ruth A., age 89, of Clayton, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born February 18, 1928 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Ruth was a devoted wife, who was married to Rev. Jim Hill for 66 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Ruth was a member of Towne Blvd. Church of God and was also devoted to her church music ministry. She enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening and needle crafts. She volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington and belonged to the University of Kentucky Women’s Cooperative. Ruth is survived by her husband Rev. Jim Hill; daughter, Susan (Mike) Webster of Clayton, OH; grandchildren, Missy Webster, Jimmy Webster and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, father, Evangelist A. L. Baldridge and mother, Stella (Gammon) Baldridge; brother, Willis Baldridge; sister, Betty White. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 12:30-2:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Jerry Minor officiating. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
