Wanda Gehron

Gehron, Wanda, age 79, of Middletown, OH, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Premier Estates. She was born April 27, 1939 in Frenchburg, KY to Berry and Clara (Back) Lawson. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an assistant manager of Kmart for 22 years, was a member of the Moose Lodge #183, Past Senior Regent, and loved baseball, bowling, and fishing on Lake Erie. Wanda is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bob Gehron; daughter, Denise (Terry) Johnston; grandchildren, Tiffany Johnston and Brandon (Noelle) Johnston; brothers, Dewey Lawson, Denzil (Lois) Lawson, Merle Lawson; sisters, Joyce Wilson, Flo (Mort) Short, Anita Gehron; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Berry and Clara (Back) Lawson; son, Charles Paul Gehron; brother, Ronald Lawson and sister, Esther Fugate. Visitation will be held Monday, May 14, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor James Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
