Ellen Pratt

Pratt, Ellen, 92 of Middletown passed away on Monday, December 11th at Otterbein of Middletown. She was born on March 10, 1925 in Columbus, OH to Benjamin Earl and Florence (Barr) Ewing, but spent 72 years of her life in Middletown. Ellen was a teacher, retiring from Wilson Elementary in Middletown. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, playing bridge, playing tennis, and was a past member of First United Methodist Church in Middletown. Ellen is survived by her son, Greg (Patty) Pratt; daughter, Marcia (Jim) Letts; her grandchildren, Andria, Melissa, Jamie, Justin, Lauren and Briana; her great-grandchildren, Ash, Gabe, Jared, Sarah, Alexandra, Connor, Abby and Ellie and her twin-sister, Margie Entsminger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Loran Pratt Jr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, December 19th at 11:00 am at the Woodside Cemetery Chapel with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to Hospice of Middletown or Otterbein of Middletown.
