Grant was Fred's favorite cousin. He loved the visits when they could reminisce together. He said many times that he wished they lived closer together so they could visit more. Grant always brought something to give Fred when he came to visit. He was such a generous man. He will be missed. Condolences to his loving family.

To the Grant Shepherd family….

We were saddened to learn of Grant’s passing. Our deepest sympathy is extended to all of you.

Like so many people, Grant, was from an era of this country’s time known as “The Greatest Generation”. In his youth, he served this great country in time of need and peril… WW II.

Grant was a man of integrity and dedication as reflected in his service to Aeronca of 36 years.. Grant was not only a professional template maker but he was a template maker of life, outlining the way for the rest of us to follow.

He is in God’s Care now.

With Deepest Sympathy,
Arlis and Geneva Engle

I am so sorry for your loss. I visited with Grant years ago when I went with my mother and father (Chester and Polly Ann Day) to Dan and Rachel's house. My two children were small and Grant spent time making them laugh. Grant was a sweet, kind man, and very friendly. With my deepest sympathy for your loss.
